Remote IP Updates

Domain-DNS.com supports a simple method of updating your IP address. (But please keep in mind that DNS changes have a 20 minute time-to-live, and it takes up to 20 minutes for changes to get "published".)

You'll need to get the "remote IP key" (just called "key" below) from the "edit zone" listing for the hostname you want to be able to update.

parameters:
host: name of host you want to update
key: authentication key for that host (provided by domain-dns.com)
ip: new ip address (your current ip will be used if not supplied)

e.g. http://domain-dns.com/ip.cgi?host=HOSTNAME&key=REMOTEIPKEY&ip=1.2.3.4
Here is a sample form if you just want to test it:

host: key: ip:

Here's another page providing more detail and more examples.
